Puget Sound Aquatic Surveys began their experience in permitting waterfront construction and conducting marine surveys in 2013. These years of experience have enabled a deep understanding of the regulatory requirements as they have evolved over the last decade, to include specialization in the Salish Sea Nearshore Program and mitigation requirements on the State and Federal level. In the current regulatory climate, it can be a challenge to address concerns from Tribal Councils, County Councils, Advisory Committees and the National Marine Fish Service, among others.
